After asking another question, I've done some research on destination weddings (Thank you everyone for your great answers!!!):

My next question: Has anyone ever gotten married or attended a wedding in Gatlinburg? I'd like to know what they're really like... Gatlinburg is about a 5 hour drive from where we live, and we're not sure if we would want to go it alone, or invite some close friends and family. This will be the second marriage for both of us, so we're not looking for anything grand or spectacular (like a Cinderella wedding) and we don't want to spend a huge sum of money. On the same note, we don't want anything cheesy or tacky.

So does anyone have any information about Gatlinburg, TN weddings? Would you suggest inviting a few family/friends or just go alone? Also, has anyone had their honeymoon there? I saw several packages that lumped the wedding/honeymoon together. Thanks again .

There are too many to look at online, and it's making my head hurt. Does anyone have a recommendation for a cabin in Pigeon Forge that will accomodate 3 adults & 2 children? I'm not looking for dirt cheap, just a really good deal.

hi, me and my fiance are planning on taking our honeymoon to gatlinburg tn. they have amazing log cabins and we want to go whitewater rafting other than that does anyone know what else there is fun to do there? i want to go fishing but im not sure if we have to have a fishing license or can we just go? thanks
